West Stokes High School is having a Rising 9th grade Transition Night on Monday, March 9 at 6:00PM.

There will be a virtual presentation and Q&A Session for rising 6th graders and their parents on February 24th, 2026 at 6:00 PM. You will meet our counselors and hear more about the registration process and elective classes for the upcoming school year.

Congratulations to our Math teachers who were recognized by the Board of Education for being in the top 25% locally or state level for growth! Our wonderful PTO showed appreciation for our bus drivers by sponsoring a breakfast for them! Thank you to our PTO and to our bus drivers for their hard work keeping our students safe!

Mr. Dillingham’s Science class investigated how similar the structures of the human eye are with the sheep eye!

Congratulations to Lauren Dudley for being selected as Chestnut Grove's Teacher of the Year! We are so thankful for her dedication as an educator and are lucky to have her represent our school. She is an extraordinary teacher who inspires students to consistently strive for their best.

Congratulations to Vincent Jurkiewicz for winning the Stokes County Spelling Bee! We are so proud of him!!!! He will be representing Chestnut Grove Middle School at the State Bee.

This is a friendly reminder that we will be hosting a Valentine's Dance for students on 2/13 from 3:30-5:00! Tickets will be sold during lunch tomorrow (2/13) for $5.

Stokes County Schools will operate on a normal schedule Tuesday, February 10th, 2026.

Please review the roads that school buses will not travel in the morning due to ongoing hazardous conditions.

We will be hosting a Valentine's Dance for students on 2/13 from 3:30-5:00! Tickets will be sold during lunch on Friday (2/13) for $5.
