Students had a great time during their limo lunch at Little Italy! This was an incentive for students who sold at least four boxes of candy for our school fundraiser.

Happy Custodian Day!

Students have had fun with the incetives for the candy fundraiser! So far we have hosted the glow party, game truck, and dunking booth with ice cream. Upcoming incentives include a limo lunch at Little Italy and a Duke/Carolina tour!

Our third annual CGMS Staff Chili Cook-Off was a success! Congratulations to our winner Mrs. Horton, who won with 12 votes!

Picture Day will take place on October 2nd! Information forms are being handed out to students today.

Our wonderful PTO treated staff to an Apple Bar this morning! Thank you for such a thoughtful surprise and to Pam Seat for donating the apples.

Employee of the Month Alert!
Please join us in celebrating Ms. Robin Harrison as the Stokes County Schools September 2025 Employee of the Month! 🎉📚
Robin has been serving as a Reading Specialist at Chestnut Grove Middle since 2021. Her tremendous work ethic and positive spirit make her a shining example for all.
💬 Here’s what her colleagues had to say:
✨ “Robin takes on anything to make our school better. She organizes learning themes, sets student goals, and even builds bulletin boards to brighten the school.”
✨ “She is the quiet heartbeat of our school—always kind, thoughtful, and hardworking. Robin is the ‘yes’ person who supports teachers, students, and admin without seeking recognition.”
✨ “She has built book clubs for struggling readers, provides data and feedback to teachers, and finds ways to support everyone in the building—all with a positive attitude.”
✨ “Robin gives her all. Students learn and grow academically and emotionally because of her dedication. She is truly gifted in her role.”
We are so thankful for Robin’s unwavering commitment and passion for student success. Stokes County Schools is better because of amazing team members like her. 💙
