Good evening Trojans and Trojan parents; this is Mr. Bennett with your weekly Trojan update. I decided to give Hector the week off.
Parents, thank you for all that you do. This is a challenging time. We are in this together. If you need assistance with your child's work, please do not hesitate to email your child's teacher or call the school. Together we will overcome the pandemic.
If your child has not been logging into their online classes daily, something is not right. Please ask for their computer login and check their Google and Canvas classroom assignments. Students will have approximately 2 hours of work each day. Students should also be completing their iReady time for both Math and ELA. Our new time guidelines can be found on our school webpage under News and Announcements.
Report Cards are not being mailed. You can find your child's grades by going to PowerSchool and looking at your child's grades under "Q3."
Parents, if you and or your child were to go on the NJHS field trip, you can now go about requesting a refund by printing a copy of the request form in the News and Announcements section. You can then email the form to Mark Maser or drop it by the school. Checks will then be cut as soon as possible.
Finally, the school will be closed April 6th through April 13th for Spring Break. I will be back in the building Tuesday, April 14th, at 8:00. If you or your child need to drop off or pick up work, the office will be open between 8 and 3. If you need time outside of these hours, please call, and I will make arrangments to keep the building open.
We hope you have a wonderful Spring Break, stay safe, and as always...Go Trojans!!!
